2020 report

The Werner Siemens Foundation began supporting three new research projects last year. One involves testing an “antivirotic”—a broad-spectrum drug effective against different types of viruses. Another focuses on developing smart implants that can help complex bone fractures to heal. In the third project, a young team search for highly efficient and cost-effective thermoelectric materials at the nanoscale. In the 2020 report, readers will also learn about advances and achievements made in other projects financed by our Foundation.
