SpectoVR

A world’s first: since the start of 2018, doctors at University Hospital Basel have been using SpectoVR, the software developed in the scope of the MIRACLE project, to plan surgical interventions in the brain or on the spine. Specto VR allows diverse specialists to discuss a planned surgery—from anywhere in the world. An additional benefit of SpectoVR is that doctors can use the software to show their patients exactly why an intervention is necessary.
